Custom Day Trip to Lake Maggiore

We’ve seamlessly blended together an itinerary that includes scenic views, leisurely boat rides, and an authentic Italian lunch. We’ll meet in Milan for the approximate 1.5 hour journey. As soon as we get out of the city center, you will be able to enjoy the lush Italian countryside as it unfolds before you.

Upon reaching Lake Maggiore, our private boat awaits us.  We’ll enjoy a leisurely ride across the glistening waters to two of the lake’s most renowned islands—Isola Bella and Isola dei Pescatori. Isola Bella, adorned with the grand Borromeo Palace and its exquisite gardens, invites you to wander through opulent rooms and terraced landscapes that cascade down to the water’s edge. Isola dei Pescatori, with its charming fishing village, provides a more intimate setting to explore local shops and enjoy the authentic atmosphere of this quaint island.

During our island visits, we’ll sit down at a local restaurant for lunch.  The lake is renowned for freshly caught seafood and regional specialities.  This is a great opportunity to get to know your guide better or simply relax.  You can enjoy the views and a glass of wine; or two!  Following lunch, we’ll make our way back to the mainland to start back to Milan.  As this is a custom tour, we are happy to include additional stops, outside of Milan, or other activities once we return to the city.
