How do I get to Berlin from the airport?
Berlin’s airport (BER) is located in the southeastern part of the city, and is approximately 45 minutes by car from the city center (Mitte). There are multiple ways to get into Berlin from the airport.
- Taxi
- If you are arriving at Terminals 1 and 2 use the north and south taxi stands in front of T1 on Level E0. Simply follow the signs posted between the terminals. Rates vary, but it costs approximately €50. All taxi drivers are required by law to accept card payments and supply transportation receipts.
- Bus
- There are multiple express and standard buses that can bring you directly to the airport from different locations in Berlin. However, due to traffic and construction, we do not recommend using the bus services.
- Train
- The easiest and fastest way to get to Berlin is on the Airport Express (FEX) train. The train station is in the airport directly below terminal 1. The train departs every 30 minutes and it takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the Berlin Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof). From there you can travel to any area easily via the s-bahn train
