We all woke up in relief to know that Paris’ Notre-Dame cathedral, the iconic symbol of the beauty and history of Paris, has been saved from “total destruction”. Last night brought to light just how important our job is to guide visitors to Paris’ most beautiful landmarks. We are devastated at the damage of one of France’s most reverent symbols. Our hearts are with the firefighters and their efforts to save this historic and beautiful cathedral, which is so very special to us.

Thank you for sharing the love. We know she will be renovated and rebuilt. But what was lost in the fire is heart-breaking and we mourn that today.

It’s already been announced that both @kering_official and @lvmh will donate 100-200 million euros to the foundation handling renovations. A note from our team in regards to our tours: Due to the devastating April 15^th 2019 fire at Notre Dame Cathedral, we have altered all activities that enter the Cathedral. We are sorry that this year’s tours will no longer be able to visit the inside of the cathedral, but we hope that getting to see Notre Dame at this particular moment in history makes the tour that much more memorable for our guests. The rest of your tour will take place exactly as planned and will not be effected. There will be a small adjustment to the Night Bike Route. We feel that now, more than ever, it is important for our guests to visit Notre Dame and see that despite the fire, she is still standing beautiful and strong! However, due to bridge closures surrounding Notre Dame we will no longer able to stop for ice cream. We are sorry that we will not be able to make our usual ice cream stop on your tour, but we hope that getting to see Notre Dame at this particular moment in history makes your tour that much more memorable for you. We have the highest reverence for Notre Dame and the history that it represents for this city.
