For 11 years now Berlin celebrates an annual Festival of Lights. Each October certain Berlin landmarks light up as visual artists project their installations, mappings, and messages on some of Berlin’s most iconic structures. This year the festival goes from October 9th – 18th nightly from 7pm until midnight. It’s a kaleidoscope of light and the images are candy for the senses.
The majority of the installations are around Mitte. A map of the various displays can be found on the festival’s official website here. Coupling where the sites are located with their being spread out, taking in the complete festival is ideal to do by bike.
So… as every year, we’ll be offering our special Festival of Lights tours this year. We get started from our TV Tower shop at 7:30pm on October 10th, 11th, 14th, and 16th. You can find out all the information about our tours here, as well as the opportunity to book for that tour. Space for that tour is limited, so booking in advance is encouraged.
