The 5 Best Shopping Malls in Paris (Updated 2020)

Are you looking to do some serious shopping during your Paris trip? In order not to waste precious browsing time, and in case the weather turns bad, you may want to check out some of Paris’ malls which, contrary to popular opinion, are not all on the outskirts of the city. Get ready for some heavy lifting…

Westfield Mall

101 Porte, rue Berger, 75001
Metro Châtelet Les Halles

Paris’ new and improved city-center shopping oasis is finally open!  After years of renovation works, this stylish, modern indoor & outdoor shopping mall boasts 118 stores, with a few exclusive international brands that you won’t find anywhere else in Paris.

For those just there to hold the bags, you can relax in the lovely outdoor garden that incorporates sidewalks, greenery, statues, and fountains to help you enjoy the wait.  There are plenty of food options and even more shopping surrounding the mall.  And since this center is truly in the center of Paris, you also have 8 metro & RER connections to get you back home. [Learn more]

Beaugrenelle

12 rue Linois, 75015
Metro Charles Michels

This is Paris’ most modern and stylish ‘centre commercial’ (mall). Beaugrenelle is located down the river from the Eiffel Tower. The architecture is contemporary, with clean lines, graphic shapes and bright colors, making it a very pleasant space to shop in!

You’ll see the avant-garde nature of Beaugrenelle everywhere, from the mobile art installation by world-famous sculptor Xavier Veilhan to the curving glass bridge that joins the main building with its smaller sister across the rue Linois. Beaugrenelle is host to a hundred or so stores, a cinema and restaurants with spectacular views over the river Seine. Why do we like Beaugrenelle? It’s not just for the food court, but the overall layout and design has been well thought-through, there’s a good selection of stores, and it never feels too busy. [Learn more]

Italie 2

30 Avenue d’Italie, 75013
Metro Place d’Italie

One of Paris’ largest malls can be found in the 13th arrondissement, at the south-east side of the city above the Place d’Italie metro station (lines 5, 6 and 7). There are 130 stores, and the center is open from 10am – 8pm Monday through Saturday (Thursday nights stay open until 9pm). It’s not the best laid-out mall, but if you’re in the area and want to do some shopping, you should check it out! The website is in French, but is fairly easy to navigate. [Learn more]

Passage du Havre

109 Rue Saint-Lazare, 75009
Metro Saint Lazare

The Passage du Havre is a small but charming mall in the centre of Paris, opposite the Saint Lazare train station. It was renovated in the late 1990s when the district started attracting more and more commerce thanks to the train station, but still retains its architectural charm, with arching glass ceilings and tiled marble walkways. Set over two storeys, it’s easy to navigate, and there’s a pretty terrace/garden in the middle – ideal for a quick rest or dropping off tired partners! The arcade is open from 9am to 8pm Monday through Saturday. [Learn more]

Les Quatre Temps

15 Parvis de la Defense, 92092
Metro La Défense

At the heart of Paris’ business district in northern La Defense, Les Quatre Temps may be technically outside the city, but you are still only ten minutes by metro from the center. If you are in town for a business trip, it may well be that you find yourself under the tall towers of La Defense. And if you do, why not pick up a few presents for the family, or yourself, on your lunch break! Back in 2013, Les Quatre Temps was Paris’ most visited shopping mall, with 47.5 million visitors, which is no real surprise due to its location and the fact that it holds over 300 stores. [Learn more]
