Futuro House
This spaceship-looking pod is none other than the Futuro House. It’s been here since 1968; it’s designer, Matti Suuronen, thought of it as a ski chalet. It designates the post-war time in Finland (Suuronen’s homeland) where space exploration was one of the more prominent conversations.
One can enter the structure’s through a hatch similar to an airplane. It’s composed of fiberglass-reinforced polyester plastic, polyester-polyurethane, and poly(methyl methacrylate).
