National Theatre

Home to the Bavarian State Opera, Orchestra, and Ballet this imposing building is one of Munich’s finest. Located on Max-Joseph-Platz, it’s one of the premier structures in modern Munich. It burned to the ground in 1818 and later fell victim to an air raid during World War II.

Guests can visit the inside by purchasing tickets for a show or by booking a tour.
