Monet’s Gardens

Once the home of the great impressionist painter Claude Monet, this private garden and museum takes you back in time to the late 19th century. A short train ride from Paris, this hidden gem in the Normandy countryside, opened to the public in 1980, reveals the inspiration behind some of the most well known artwork of the impressionist movement. The Monet’s Gardens in Giverny provides an amazing day away from the hustle and bustle of Paris. You will enjoy wandering around the house where Monet spent half his life creating and enjoying his Japanese garden and pond full of floating lilies. You will get a sense of what inspired Monet after seeing his breathtaking property.

There are so many beautiful photographs to be taken and memories to be had on our Monet’s Gardens Bike Tour. Join us on our Monet’s Garden Bike Tour and experience for yourself the famous water lilies, the Japanese bridge, and the multi colored flowers that kept the artist painting for decades. Enjoy the offerings of a traditional french market and a relaxed picnic along the river Seine. Our tour guides will give you a great overview of Impressionist history while also allowing you to take in the quaint surroundings of the region. A wonderful day trip out of Paris, this is a “must see” for any art lover – don’t forget to bring your camera!
